Sara Evans
Throughout her life, Sara Evans only held just one ambition: to create and sing country songs. "God put me on this earth as singing," said Evans, as quoted by John Meroney of American Enterprise. Evans was born in 1970 made her debut in the mid 90s, the time when many of the country music's aspiring singers turned to modern popular songs. That is evident on her first album released in 1997, True Lies. True Lies, though it received favorable reviews and received nominations from the Academy of Country Music for the best female new artist of 1998 it failed to have an significant impact. Evans was able to convince her to modify her song repertoire for No Place That Far in 1999 by the producers. It gave her the recognition that she'd desired for so long.
